My mic wasn't in the box

when I bought my xbox bundle it came with everything except for the mic. I k is for a fact that it was supposed to coome with a mic

When I plugged the cable for my play and charge kit in the person I was running extinction with still couldn't hear me and the Mic wasn't muted and I wasn't in a party.

My son noticed his mic wasn't working. After troubleshooting it, I discovered it has a short in the mic. I'm sure he has bent it enough trying to get it close to his mouth. All I need is another boom mic for this headset. Any ideas where to get just
the mic?

 

You would need to contact the retailer you purchased it from for an exchange.

As Smwutches mentioned, if your bundle was indeed supposed to come with a Mic, it's best to contact the retailer. To clarify though, you'll want to take a look on the box. It'll let you know what's included in the bundle, most console bundles don't come
with a mic, but are available to purchase later.
