    Not sure if this information is useful but I was on smartglass going through and deleting all my messages as 'Everton' suggested above and every minute or so on my laptop I was trying to click a link on destinyLFG to send a message to see if it fixed it
    on xbox.com or not...

    As I was deleting my messages there was one message that when I swiped to delete it the cancel button was red instead of white like every other message had been. I thought that was strange so I screen shot it and straight after I deleted it I tried destinyLFG
    and it worked! I could finally send messages again...

    I have uploaded screenshots to show you what I mean.

    So I didnt delete every message I had in my inbox but I deleted all of them up to the 'Red' message. I dont know if that is what fixed it or it had something to do with how many messages were in my inbox and it just so happened that it was the magic number
    that fixed my inbox but if anyone else sees the 'red' message on their smartglass and it fixes it please share...

    Hey Tretron! Hmm, so you can't send and receive messages at all? That doesn't seem something that would be specific to the console. Can you please try send/receiving them over Xbox.com?

    • If you CAN send messages over the website, then please try downloading your profile to a different console (a friend's maybe, or even one in a store) and see if you can send/receive that way.
    • If you can NOT send them over the website, then can you please post a pic of exactly what happens when you try?

    One way or another, we'll get to the bottom of it!
