My long-time use offline account losing half of earned Gamerscore

I have been a long time user of xbox and have owned multiple xbox live accounts over the years, as I have also owned a number of consoles but have only had 2 accounts that I've really stuck to.

Due to where I lived for a good 12 years I never had a strong internet connection so I would use my xbox live account where I could but mainly used my offline account, the offline account being this account. Today a few colleagues of mine convinced me to join
live again and to play with them, so I did, on this account but after joining xbox live I've noticed my gamerscore has decreased from around 26,000 to 9,300. Thankfully I still have my halo achievements as they are my proudest but I was wondering if anything
could be done to restore my achievements? I have kept note of the games I've 100% completed over the years as personal achievements, I feel, go a long way to remind yourself of the small things in life.

Anyway, I apologise for my 16 page essay but I very much would like to know if my achievements can be restored as I no longer have the time to play as much as I used to.

    Thanks, .

    :)

  3. Recovering Gamertag erases gamerscore?

Hey there, Darwin42SW. To make sure I'm understanding this correctly: You downloaded your gamertag onto a friend's console and have earned achievements while playing offline. Now you want to use your profile again on your home console but are worried about
losing your gamerscore? Let me know if I'm understanding that correctly.

    Thanks for reaching out, twowhac!

That discrepancy is likely caused by the achievements you earned while you were offline - Gamerscore display discrepancies typically resolve themselves after a bit.

You can also try removing your profile from the console, then power cycle the console, then sign back into your profile, which can help. Let us know if you're still seeing that issue after the next few days!

It appears to have worked? Only missing achievements on like 2 games.
