    My location isn't showing as one of the options avabile


    Hello! I have recieved an Xbox Series S as a gift and I'm having trouble connecting it. It is my first time owning a console, and I have watched some YouTube videos about setting it up, yet none can solve my problem.

    I can complete all of the steps just fine until I reach the location part. I live in Romania, a country which isn't apart of the choices shown and I have tried using other countries for the location, but it just redirects me back to the start, saying I should retry.

    What should I do?

    remember that your account needs to be from the same region selected for the xbox, which region are you using?

    Well because Romania isnt a xbox live region and unfortunately because you are in an unsupported region we can't help even one mistake can cost you 3months

    Personally AT&T is my favorite. I also use Comcast and Clear depending on my location. Clear isn't that bad if you can get a good connection to them and Comcast is up next to AT&T but that wasn't one of the original things you posted so I'm guessing it isn't
    really an option.

    But my Xbox one does not show current location/region option. I do not want to go for region change if it affect all my previous purchases. Could you let me know how this can be resolved.

    Thanks, for your suggestion, SatanicoDrCadillac. Unfortunately, my scenario isn't there. My Xbox doesn't show any errors and offline update option isn't selectable.
