    My Kinect will randomly stop working.


    My Kinect will randomly stop working, it's not unplugged, i tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and it still didn't work! I use an original Xbox One. It won't hear me, and I can't talk. I don't understand why this happens.

    My Kinect will randomly stop working.

    If the Xbox logo doesn't light up when you plug it in, and you are getting the "Plug in your Kinect" error,
    your Kinect may be "dead".

    There is a small thermal fuse inside that can be replaced which is usually the issue on them. I've replaced them in the past, but you have to be comfortable disassembling the Kinect and using a soldering iron.

    Same problem here. turns on and off randomly and sometimes wont come back on until I restart the console.

    Does anyone know if the cable is plugged into the back of the Kinect or if it is moulded into to back.

    dont want to pull at the cable to try and unplug and plug back in if it is molded.
