My Kinect is not connecting to twitch like not showing up to broadcast from it any ideas why

I'm having the same exact issue.

Tried on many games, reinstalled twitch. Kinect is showing the "Broadcast" option but it won't broadcast.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Twitch App

This has proven to help many folks, so moving this up:

Please try disconnecting the app from Twitch, then on the Xbox One deleting theapp data, uninstalling the app and then reinstalling. Do exactly as follows:

1. First, disconnect the Xbox connection from your Twitch account: twitch.tv/settings/connections

2. Then on your Xbox On, select the Twitch app in My Games & Apps.

3. Press the menu button.

4. Select Manage app.

5. On the right under SAVED DATA, select the appropriate gamertag.

6. Press the menu button.

7. Select Delete saved data.

​8. To uninstall the app, find the app, then press the menu button to open the app menu, and select Uninstall.

What You MUST Have Set on Your Xbox One BEFORE You Can Broadcast

To broadcast to Twitch from your Xbox One, the following must be true:

*In your Profile, your presence is set to "Online".

*In the Settings app under "Privacy and online safety", "See if you're online" is set to "Everyone" and "Broadcast gameplay" is set to "Allow".

*In the Settings app under "Preferences", "Allow broadcasts and Game DVR uploads" is checked.

*You must be playing a game. You cannot broadcast without first launching a game.

In order to include Kinect information in your broadcast, the following must be true:

*In the Settings app under "Privacy and online safety", "Share content made using Kinect" is "Allow".

*In the Settings app under "Kinect", "Kinect on" is checked and to include Kinect audio in your broadcast "Use Kinect microphone for chat" is checked.

I followed all the steps above and it worked.

I liked this idea anyway, but the implementation on Xbox looks incredibly cool.

You can only broadcast on Twitch directly from your xbox at the moment.

No idea whether they'll add the option to broadcast to Facebook directly in the future.

I've been trying to use twitch for a couple of weeks now on the xbox one but I don't believe it has worked even once.

Every few days I've been looking up the issue to see if there are any new ideas to resolve the problem but there doesn't appear to have been any new tips in a few months.

For starters I've tried all the ideas on the attached link, in numerous combinations / sequences, to no avail.

I've read the odd post online suggesting that Microsoft and Twitch are aware of the issue but these appeared to be a couple of months old.

Twitch website registers that the xbox is a connected device and all looks to be in order from the website's point of view.

Twitch app recognises that it is connected to twitch account and that the current game is active.

I've tried various bandwidths for the stream noting that I have about 3megabit/sec bandwidth. I've tried with / without kinect option in twitch.

The fail result is the same for both Titanfall and Rayman (to name a few).

I can stream twitch videos on the device. Just can't broadcast.

Tried having my privacy settings on either adult, or custom. For custom I had everything set to maximum sharing except for my real name.

Broadcast options in preferences settings are all ticked (tried unticking / rechecking them etc / reboots etc)

Uninstalled twitch / deleted data from everywhere / hard resets etc.

The hard-drive is only 50% full.

The unit is connected to internet via a wired connection.

I am aged 32 and located in Canberra, Australia.

No parental guidance settings.

There is only one other user set up on the system (an adult) but they are never logged in anyway.

Some of the blogs suggest people's issues are just periodic but on my system the broadcast feature has failed every single time - regardless of whether I leave the snap open or return to full screen on the game. (although if I go fullscreen it does flash
a message at the bottom that streaming is active.)

Before starting the stream, the game / kinect etc appear correctly in the preview window (although sometimes it has the kinect window in the wrong corner).

The twitch website occasionally updates the description of the active stream but the preview window always indicates 'offline'.

I've tried activating the twitch connection through a browser on either a PC or android device.

The error message is identical every time. Everything in the app appears to be working fine until I click start broadcast at which point it displays "broadcasting" for about 6-10 seconds and then reverts to the message "Broadcast Fail. We're sorry something
went wrong with the broadcast. Error Code: 0x10331196"

(pretty sure that's the right code but I copied it off a website - the message is right)

I have never seen any other error message such as "you are not an adult" etc etc

I see so many blogs and forums regarding this issue I'm sure that half of them are user errors. Unfortunately this has meant that people with "real" errors do not appear to be getting heard.

Reliable advice to resolve this issue once and for all (or even temporarily) would be greatly appreciated.
