Thanks for your update. Can you test it with a different cord? Also, try clearing the cache on your console:

1. Turn off the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds.

2. Unplug the power cable from the back.

3. Wait at least 10 seconds.

4. Plug the power cable back in.

5. Turn the console back on.

i’m using a snpurdiri 60% keyboard with a usb to usb C cable, i’m trying to play dayz with it, it was working on the game previously and just stopped working on my xbox all together and my console is up to date

Which USB keyboards are you testing with specifically?

Do you have any other accessories connected to the Xbox at the same time you're trying to use the keyboards?

Mouse and keyboard does not work with all apps and games on Xbox. Which game or app are you testing the keyboards with?

Make sure you have all your console updates installed as well.

The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

It won't work, as the bluetooth dongle will not work on the Series X|S as the console does not support the bluetooth adapter. If you want to use a keyboard on the console, then you will need a wired keyboard or a wireless keyboard that is not bluetooth.
