My keyboard and mouse won’t work on my Xbox Series S

A keyboard and mouse, wireless or wired only work on a very limited selection of games (about 30+) for other games it's controller only. All Xbox One games with mouse and keyboard support

For such cases, our suggestion here is performing a Soft Factory Rest Xbox Support by selecting the following:
Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting and see if this will correct this issue.

It was working yesterday and then I turned my Xbox off and tried to use it a couple of hour later and not was working but the mouse. But when I’m on games it says I’m using but the keyboard won’t work

Yes im playing with mouse and keyboard on the Xbox X. My mouse and keyboard work perfectly fine on pc. Its only on the xbox. There's quite a lot of people who have the same bug on the Xbox Series, check this: https://reddit.com/r/Seaofthieves/s/2CW2p8rXoq

They all have the same problem. I hope you guys can test it out and fix it soon.

Some games on the Xbox One or Series X|S do support keyboard and mouse. So if you use a keyboard and mouse just by plugging them into the usb ports on the Xbox console, then no it is not a bannable offense. It can be though if you use an unofficial adapter to play on games that do not support keyboard and mouse.
