My ip just got hacked, and I've already changed my password.

You would need to contact your ISP for assistance since that would be done through your internet and not the Live service.

I'm already in the habit of changing my Live password/email password(s) every few months.

It would be interesting to find out how this actually happened. It would be the first instance I've ever heard of about someone actually getting 'hacked' rather than just phished (or having their email hacked - and getting in that way).

Aw! That sucks that your account got hacked. Here are some things you should do for your account.

- Contact Microsoft Support and let them know that you got hacked. They should help you with that issue.

- Change your password and email.

- Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and let them know that you got hit offline and ask for a IP change. Only do this, if you have a static IP. If you don't, just unplug your router for a day and it should change.

but thats what im not completely sure about. im not sure if it was completely changed. and i already locked my account cuz my profile was hacked. they should already know that its my profile considering they know that i didnt hack my own my account. i also
dont want to lock my account for an investigation for no reason. the last time i got hacked, i locked it and the person that hacked my invited me to his own party and told me the email and password. I recovered it onto my xbox but couldnt play on the profile
