    600 is the maximum bandwidth you have purchased from your ISP, not what third parties are obligated to provide you. We get people all the time who don't understand gigabit is designed for a family of 4 heavy users

    250mbps is typically the max anyone will get

    Just to let you know I am having the same issue. Using windows 10 though. I have fiberoptic interent and was your a wired connection. Turns out it is the ethernet connection. It won't load when I am using ethernet. Just discovered that if I switch to wifi it works just fine. I did a factor reset of my router and it did not fix the ethernet issue. On ethenet I get >600mbps download and >500mbps upload. So it's a great connection. Oddest thing.

    i have them, it all depends on the internal wiring in the home, i get about 500-600Mbps throughput which is good for them, luckily my microwave is on another internal ring main so does not interfere with it.
