I haven't but it is a great idea.

My uncle had a stroke years ago and lost the ability to use his left arm. He started playing videogames with just his right arm and became good at them. He learned on an Atari Jaguar controller which using that with 2 arms was a feat in and of itself.

I've asked him about this new controller and he doesn't want to use it.

1. No.

2. Controllers aren't attached to profiles. If he has a preference of controller, he would be able to just sign into his own account and use the same controller. But if he were to switch to using his own profile, nothing from your husband's account can be transferred to his account. So he would either need to continue using your husband's account without limits, or start over on his own child account so he can have a time limit.

Side note, My husband said he has the same trouble if it is game chat he can join in, but he can't join the party if they are playing on 360s, his friends change to game chat for him.

One of my boss's wife's friends left her husband because all he did when he got home from work was play video games. I don't know if he was playing rpg or what but it's quite sad when you hear about stuff like that.
