    My home computer is linked to my old email address. I want my family to still use that old email login to sign into the home computer but I want my xbox to be separate from that old email and to use my current one. I have changed the primary alias to be my new email but when I attempt to remove the old account I get the warning "Warning: Before removing the address, be completely certain that you don't use it anywhere else. Do you use this address as the contact mail for Facebook, financial institutions, or other accounts? If so, go to those accounts and change your email address to one you still use."

    I do not want to delete this account but I would like the old email to just be used for the home computer.

    Can I change email but keep all games/purchases?

    Would it be possible for me to create a new Microsoft email address for myself and have that linked to everything on my old email (Office365 subscription, computer login etc.) except xbox so my son can continue to use my old one?

    Thank you for your swift response!

    However, to link my old email address to my hotmail account is not possible as i can only link other hotmail email addresses to my hotmail account.

    I tried to recover my old email address and was informed by the email address provider that it was not only deactivated but also terminated and not recoverable as i havent used it in 10+ years.

    Is there any other way to help change my old xbox live email address? Perhaps microsoft could change it manually? Given that i can verify that it is my account via Identification card, phone number or facebook as i use the same email address there as i do on my xboxlive account.

    What do I do if I don't have an xbox 360, xbox one or a friend that has an xbox 360 to lend out for me to be able to?

    F.Y.I. I want to be able watch my movies/tv shows on my PC, which I purchased on my xbox 360.The gamertag that I used on my xbox 360 is linked to my old email address, but my PC is linked to my new email address.

    Account recovery didn't work

    I have nearly the same problem. My old Email address is also no more exist and forgive again. But I also have the problem that my alternative Email address still also no more exist and forgive!

    So I tried to use my Hotmail Mail account which is linked to my old email address. Unfortunately I can not log in there too because they say that they send me a Email to my old account... Any idea what I can do!?

    I know my old bank data's, have the serial number of my xbox360, production ID, my gamer Tag and the old games :) So can anyone say me what I can do!?

    Why has my account name changed ?

    well I remembered my password but it is still linked to my old email address... but the new email address is linked to the BeastlierBeef5 account ? My new email account was put in via my xbox so maybe that's where the problem lies. I now seem to have
    2 accounts. This one with the wrong email address... and the one above with my current email address but no links to my games or achievements....
