    My headset...


    My headset/mic regularly disconnects out of my controller and needs to twist and turn the cord until its connected. I have tried 2 controllers with 2 different headsets and they both have the same problem. Is there a way to fix this?

    It could be my controllers or my turtlebeaches.

    turtle beach headsets?

    I love my x31 headsets I actually bought the x41 headsets for my husband for christmas. Turtle beach headsets are very good headsets

    Sound Issues

    Yesterday, I was playing Zboz and all the sudden my headset stopped producing sound. I could hear sound if I turned my speakers up, but not through my headset. Also, I have plugged my headset into multiple devices and the headset produces sound. For some
    reason I can hear sound from my headset anywhere but my Xbox. I have also checked to see if the sound is turned up in my headset and it's on full blast from bothe my headset and the side bar. Any ideas?

    Possibly the 3.5mm connector on the headset and/or the 3.5mm port on the controller may be dirty, perhaps from dust or other particles.

    Clean the male connector with some high-proof rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip or lint-free cloth. Blow into the 3.5mm port with compressed air, or give it a gentle brushing with a Q-tip or small pipe cleaner. Hopefully this helps!

    Mic Constantly Stuck On Mute

    There are a few things that could be the issue.

    1. The account settings are set so that the account is unable to use voice chat of any kind.

    2. The headset you are using is not compatable with the controller, or the wire for the headset is broken in some way.

    3. The port for the headset on the controller is broken or just isnt detecting the headset. For me personally i have this issue with my headset since for some reason using my sound mixer attachment on my controller mutes my headset. A simple unplug and repluging
    of the headset fixes this issue.

    I have had this same issue in the past with my wifes headset as well as mine.

    With her headset the actual headset did not allow game audio but, going the Settings>General>Volume & Audio Output : there you will find options that allow you to set up the headset speakers to (headset only) this may solve the issue. As for my headset it
    took me and hour to realize the headset itself had a mute switch on it and turning that off fixed that headset.

    My headset is compatible with Xbox one. I plugged my headset in to my Apple device and it worked. I also have tried the headset with both controllers for my Xbox and I did not hear anything. Is there Anything you can think of that could allow me to use the headset on the Xbox? When I plug the headset In to my controller i hear nothing. When I try to start a party on my Xbox it says that we can’t find a microphone for these people.

    I cannot hear my friends when we are in a party through my turtle beach headset

    i have the same problem with same headset and im in preview program too, the only thing solve my problem is connecting my other wired headset into my controller while my wireless headset transmitter is connected to the console than i unplugged the wired
    one when i started to hear my friends.

    note: my other headset is Astro A50 im not sure if it will work if you use any headset but its worth trying.
