    My headset is very weird


    I have a headset im not sure what model but i have to shout for my friend to hear me when its plugged into my pc, however when the same headset is in my phone, he can hear me fine but i have trouble hearing him. Ive tried a lot of troubleshooting options and none have worked so can someone please help me...

    Hello Yoctovic, headsets usually have different connection patterns, try checking your headset's brand and connection pattern, because not all of them are compatible between equipment.

    UPDATE: Ok this is very weird, if my offical 360 wireless headset is on before i turn on the xbox, (the old model) the stuttering happens, if its off it doesnt. Very weird. Also it still only does it only if the harddrive is in, the headset doesnt
    effect it if i play with on the 4gb internal. very odd.

    Jarrod, by any chance, do you have another headset to test it on the controller? Because, that's very weird, just on your console this headset issue is happening. :/ IF another headset exhibits the same issue, we could start considering that it is a problem with the controller, with the headset bus, or even on the console.

    These seems like a weird issue. This has happened to me before, it's very frustrating. Your best bet is to probably get a new headset.

    For some, maybe. It would be a waste to do it all over again. The GOTY edition's save file should have been similar to the non-GOTY edition, imo.
