My headset is perfectly fine and working but xbox doesnt recognise it

so i recently bought a new controller 2 days ago , brand new, and i bought it as i thought there was an issue with my previous controller but clearly not , my controller and console is all updated . however
my turtle beach headset which works in my phone and pc does not get recognised by xbox when i put it into my controller and ive tried everything and nothing works , it aint my headset or my controller, how do i fix this.

ive already tried -

it didnt help whatsoever in any way . my headset is fine and so is my controller but it is just not being recognised and noone on is replying on xbox support for my issue. someone help a man out here

Did you check for firmaware updates for your new controller through the Accessories app?

just an update on my issue , i got into contact with a specialist and hes told me the most mindblowing insane thing.

according to "Amal B" , with the latest xbox one console update ALL non microsoft branded headsets are not recognised at all . that to me blows my absolute mind and makes zero sense, hes currently trying to help me in some way at the moment and im waiting
on a responce but im blown away if thats the case, im almost sure 99% of gamers on here use non microsoft branded headsets and even my mates have astro headsets or turtle beach and they are not having the same issue, i dont know if this was an intentional
update or not but people have spent alot of money on top quality headset and ive no idea why this would ever be reasonable . ill update this when i get a responce, anyone else ever been told this

Hi,

Did you check if there is some updates for your controller ? To check it go to accessories app , select your controller and check if an update is available. If not, its maybe an issue with the controller connector jack , maybe try another headset ( one from
smartphone… )...
