my headset audio isn't working correctly on my controller

yes i have it updated to the latest firmware

Yes I've tried this with a different controller that has analog stick issues my headset worked fine on it i also use my headset on my laptop which it work fine on as well.

If the sound is working on your laptop and on another controller while connected to the same console, then the issue is with the audio port more than likely. Since that is an internal hardware issue, there is no way to really troubleshoot the issue since everything
else has already been done and you just need to replace that controller.

I absolutely love gaming with my headset, but as we all know, sometimes it can be annoying to get running properly. Let's see if we can resolve your situation!

If you press the highlighted Xbox button in the middle of your controller, right bumper click over to system, then go down to settings, after selecting settings it will take you to the menu you need. Here you can adjust and optimize your settings for headsets.
Also may I ask have you tried this with another headset? Sometimes the brass connections on these 3.5 m m studio jacks wear down, and cause a shorting out or compression of sound. also if it is not those connections on the headsets, have you tried this with
another controller?
