My gt was changed and i didnt do it, any way to change it back without having to pay again?

I don't know who did it, but my account's gamertag was changed. It used up my 1 time free gamertag slot too, which is annoying since I was gonna change it to something else. Anyway I can contact Microsoft Support (without phoning them, I don't have a phone
atm, as it's broken)?

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about a way to contact Xbox Customer Support in regards to your Gamertag change.

Xbox Forums MVP, Ambassador and Moderator Smwutches has already provided for you all the information that could pertain to this scenario.

There is a possibility that you could change your Gamertag once more if you have yet to take advantage of the new Gamertag change system, you can read more on that on the

If you believe that you account has been taken over or hacked, we recommend that you use the

My gamertag wasn't inappropriate and no one has been on my account (I have two friends who also use the account and don't exactly bother with things like that) so it may have been compromised. Thanks for the suggestion.

are you sure your gt wasn't considered inappropriate? you can reach support at
support.xbox.com

The only way to know for sure whether someone reported your gamer tag as inappropriate and whether the enforcement team was the ones that changed it or not is to sign into your account at enforcement.xbox.com this will tell you for sure.

Have you done that yet to make sure this is not what happened?

Typically the only way it's changed without someone signing into your account and change it is if you were given a forced name change. If that was the case, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com

if that wasn't the case, and you believe your account was compromised and changed, you would need to contact support. You should be able to chat with them http://support.xbox.com/contact-us (just
make sure it says support chat and not chat with an expert gamer).

Otherwise, the only way to change it again would be to pay.
