Hi, A visa Giftcard is not compatible on Xbox, even if they are with money inside.. The Xbox accepts the Xbox gift cards or bank and postal cards. Do not giftcard visa. You should do so using it on Amazon and buy something there

You probably do not want to hear this but this is the reason why.

It is for your security.

When a Credit/Debit (even prepaid ones) card is put onto an account it asks for the billing address, billing name on the card, card number, and security code on the back of the card. When an attempt is made for a purchase on the back end it checks those
things to make sure that they are all still correct and if not it will not let the purchase go through. This information is actually verified just to put the card onto an account. If this information does not match exactly MS will not even allow the card to
be added to the account.

Now the problem with the pre paid cards is that these cards do not have these items to verify on those cards so the system can not verify that information.

Not just thst but becausr the visa gift card charges fees ontop of your transactions for online transactions

You can look them up on the visa gift card website

You can try and attempt to add personal info and enable online transactions but its 80/20 chance it wont work

Its like playing russian roulette with your money

Some cards work with online services and most wont

They are meant for store purchass really
