My gift card that you guys sent me does not work

I did she said talk to offline something so idk now because I got the message from Xbox on Xbox I went down to the Xbox live messages on it and then it said like here’s your black Friday deal to buy add-ons and all that and it said the gift card I want
to talk to them and they said to come contact you and they’ll and then you guys will talk to me about like getting me a new card because it was already like use or something

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. If the card was provided from a retailer other than Microsoft My advice would be to check the code with them first; However, if you purchased the code from the Microsoft store you will have to contact
our online support to further check your case with them.

unfortunatelt I don't think it's possible to get a new one.Sorry for that.

When you were sent the gift card you will have been advised of its expiry date and to use it before then. If you did not use it and allowed it to expire it will not be possible to replace it .

Thanks for all the replies from everyone! Now my MasterCard gift card works! Strange that the same gift card wasn't accepted before with a random address (which I used since it's not 'my' card) but it does work now with my actual address. Good news for
anyone else who doesn't want to risk bank card or paypal info. Stranger still that official Microsoft and xbox support reps I spoke to already couldn't figure this out, and both told me my gift card wouldn't work or I had to do something else. I'll come here
first next time. You guys and girls are awesome!
