My gears 5 game dose not load

Everytime I try to load gears 5 I get the start up picture screen and it stays on there for like 15 seconds then it goes back to the home menu, I’ve tried all the troubleshooting methods and none of them have worked for me. I’m on the original Xbox One and when gears 5 came out I was able to play but now I can’t. What should I do to make it work?

Yes this is the only game I’m having trouble with and no I do not have any type of keyboard or mouse plugged in.

No it did not work I tried doing the factory reset it did not work and I don’t have a external hard drive. I’m just really disappointed because I want to play with my brother and I can’t because my game never loads

I'm sorry to hear that. Here are the steps that you can try for your concern.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged in to the console right now?

If yes, can you unplug it and Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

Once done, please check if the issue still persist while the external hard drive is unplugged.

You can also try to do a soft factory reset without removing any games and apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.
