    My games won't recognize my xbox live gold


    I just redeemed a code for a whole year of xbox live gold. My xbox one says I have the membership but when I load up a game, I can't use any features that require xbox live gold. Can anybody help me with this issue?

    I have xbox Live Gold Membership I pay for yearly...but I still don't think my Xbox live Rewards recognizes it???

    Xbox One won't recognize gold status

    My subscription recently renewed but due to an error of mine I forgot to update my credit card information and the account went overdue for a day or two. Now Xbox One won't recognize that I'm a gold subscriber and anything I try to do related to gold just
    tries to sell me a gold subscription. Xbox 360 seemingly doesn't have this problem as I could download the game for gold for it no problem but the Xbox One title won't recognize my gold subscription. I have tried letting it sit for a few days hoping it would
    resolve itself, I've even tried restarting my Xbox One to no avail. What's next?

    Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, as stated in our FAQ:

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:

    Hi there sorry to hear you are experiencing issues, what I would try to do in this case is to quit the game, sign out and sign back in, if that doesn't work I would contact xbox support.
