My games keep crashing within the first couple of minutes of gameplay, is there a solution?

My Xbox series S has been experiencing a few problems in the past couple of weeks. The games on my Xbox have been crashing very frequently and now it is happening within a couple of minutes.

I have followed all of the trouble-shooting steps but none of these solutions have worked. I have tried different accounts, as well as removing and adding my own, but still nothing. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the games.

Can this be fixed by me, or will I need to send it to get fixed, or would I have to purchase a new Xbox?

I understand that you are experiencing crashing of your games.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please hard reset your Xbox. Perform a hard reset by holding down the Power button on your console for several seconds until it completely shuts down. Unplug the power cable for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn the console back on.

Kindly restart your modem/router as well in order for your network connection to fully refresh.

And then check for system updates. To check on this please go to Settings > System > Updates and check for any available updates.

As a last resort please reset the Xbox to factory default but keeping your games and apps.

Press the Xbox button

Select Profile & system

Select Settings

Select System

Select Console info

Select Reset console

Choose Reset and keep my games & apps

Before reseting the Xbox kindly make sure that you do not have any offline saves because it will be deleted. But if you are connected to your network when gaming there is no need to worry because your game saves is saved to the cloud and it won't be deleted from the system.

This option "Reset and keep my games and apps"

Which means all of your games will remain installed on your Xbox.

The profile downloaded will be deleted but you always have the option to redownload them.

If none of these steps work, it might be necessary to send your console for repair or consider purchasing a new one.

Yeah I have the same problem but mine just freezes and locks up upon startup

Localized glitches... I had that in the past when playing SR2, but the patch updates fixed it. Haven't encountered any in SR3 myself.
