My games don’t look 4K anymore help me

My xbox one x doesnt seem to recognise the 4K in my tv anymore... I have a JVC Fire TV Edition LT-40CF890. All the system requirements were previously met and now my only option is 1080 and 720p... I don’t know what happened... tried resetting both the TV
and the xbox, used new cables, tried different hdmi ports but nothing can get it back to when all the 4K system requirements were met! Please help guys!

Hey bud i had this problem a few weeks ago. What help me i factory reset my xbox and when i did the set up again eveything was fine, Give it a try

I don’t have a xbox one s or x. Just a normal xbox one. I do realize that i wont be able to have full 4K graphics when using just the standard console. But what i don’t understand is how my old led tv has better picture quality with my games than my 4K
tv.

That’s strange, in this case could be a different component the one causing the issue.
But is hard to tell which, you may need to take the console to an electronic repair shop.

If you ask me the series S is a good console, I have one.
If you don’t mind about 4K gaming or you don’t have a big 4K screen
I can recommend the console!

Thanks for this. On this basis then are we suggesting that Microsoft store will no longer look to display xbox one x enhanced anymore - looking to replace with 4k and HDR10 detail instead?

I've seen a couple comments related to 4k. First there is a $1000 50 inch and just announced $700 39 inch from seiki. So not grossly overpriced anymore. There is no guarantee that 4k will come to the home like hd did, mostly b/c broadcast, cable, and satellite
have little movement in that direction. With espn saying this week it sees no bettet chance thanits now defunct 3d channel of making it to mainstream. Point is consoles prob won't have to do 4k.

I have one titan and in 4k it handles majority of things maxed out but is limited to 30fps. Witcher2 and crysis3 and far cry3 I had to back down a little. The graphical improvement for me is awsome like going from sd to hd. I'm looking forward to what
developers do with the new consoles ram it should help pc games look better. Btw forza is a system seller for me as much as drive club.
