    Hey all! I wanted to ask if there is a way to get my gamertag back "". I went to Xbox Enforcement after chatting with an Xbox agent and was able to appeal the case. As you see, my name is still that here but not on Xbox. The backstory of why it got removed isn't completely clear, but according to the time it got removed, I'd assume a player I eliminated in-game reported me a bunch just to be petty, and now it's "StoredPurse9924". The harassment of one who gets mad at a game and wants to take it out on everyone is beyond me, but I digress. My gamertag was that for quite some time and never had any complications with Xbox's gamertag system to this day. It was created based on a nickname me and an old pal use to call each other but is not whatsoever used in a context that is deemed inappropriate, hence why it was allowed. I was wondering if it is possible to get it back, as I went to Xbox enforcement and got just a plain old, automated bot message from a forum in which my issue fell under but did not read my appeal at all. I use this name on various platforms and want to keep it for consistency and also is what some people know me for. It is quite humorous how there are several other gamertags that are far worse, and a decent amount that have "BigNut" in it but mine gets reported and I have to change to the new Xbox gamertag system (which I'm no fan of). Anyway, hopefully I can get it back and thanks in advance for any help you lot have. - Austin

    A case review on the enforcement site would be the only possible way to get it back. Since you've already submitted a review, you'll have to wait for a response from the enforcement team. If they upheld their decision, you won't be able to get the tag back.

    This is actually my best option here, Please report my gamertag. It is my only way I can get in touch with Xbox Enforcement, Please understand my gamertag was changed in error!

    This isn't in my enforcement history though. And I looked through my Xbox reputation and it shows 0 complaints about everything against my account, including gamertag reports. So if I had no reports against my gamertag, why did it get changed?

    If you know the Xbox account gamertag that was used to purchase the game, then you should be able to report the gamertag on the Xbox reporting feature, then the enforcement team will investigate, and take the relevant action.
