My game won’t update, what should I do?

Kindly check first if you have enough space for the update on your hard drive.

If your console has enough space, please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.



Solution 2: Do a factory reset



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

However, before considering that, I would like to ask if you are able to test if the controllers work after trying to:

A. Connect the controller to a different device, like a PC or a mobile phone via Bluetooth (if the controller has it) or USB.

B. Connect the controller to a different Xbox.

C. If you have a friend or relative with an Xbox, attempt to connect one of their controllers to your console.

Hi thank you for the advice. I’ll try and use a friends controller if they have one available and try to use my controller on their xbox.

I have tried different devices,emails,and websites, nothing works it says that you have to redeem it on the website listed on the back and every time I do it just says the same thing “user not verified please refresh the page” and every time I do says the same thing and I have tried every code
