my game will start normally but will freeze when i try to connect to the server.

my game(tera) starts normally, i am able to connect and play until i get to the server selection screen. then i will click the "lakan" server so that i can access my game and play it. however that is when it doesn't work. I click the server and the game
freezes, although the background music plays normally. after about a minute or so it will say "can't connect to server. please contact customer support at support.enmasse.com" I thought the Tera game might be having issues so i went to the black desert online
game. this also had the same issue. everything connected and continued normally until i went to play the game and it said "cant connect to server" I went through the troubleshooting process on "xbox assist" and even resorted to factory resetting my console.
I tried to play the game but the result was the same

Hi JennyThompson2,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue.

First, unplug your router and modem from the power source for at least 5 minutes. Then,
go ahead and do a hard restart and power cycle.
Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox. Reconnect your network devices while your Xbox
boots up.

If the problem continues, then you will need to re-install the games that are having server issues.

I tried to fiddle with it again this morning. The system DOES start up normally without the kinect but doing things that require being connected to xbox live wont work. And when I try to get into my memory storage it still freezes up kinda.

I have the same problem. It started a couple of nights ago. Connection is fast (300MBS) and wired connection to Xbox One. Cloud gaming starts the game but then freezes with "can't connect to the server" every few seconds.

I'm having the same problem as well. The freezing only happens if you try to load the Xbox Home screen while you are signed in and connected to Xbox Live. If you sign in without connecting to Xbox Live, then start a game, then connect to Xbox Live, it'll
play the game normally. However, the moment you try to load the Xbox Home Screen while signed in and connected to Xbox Live, it'll freeze. The freezing issue might be regional since I am from Singapore too.

When starting up the game, or at the initializing server screen too?
