    My game was redeemed on the wrong account


    My son redeemed his code using my phone for Minecraft Xbox one edition including the favorites pack....now he's screwed out of his game because NOTHING can be done to fix it....needless to say I'm not happy with Microsoft support....there should be a way
    to switch the game to the right account....kids are not always thinking when they are excited about their newest game system....sorry policy considering the cost of the game system

    Xbox One code redeemed on wrong account

    I redeemed a game code that I received when I purchased Assassins Creed: Origins Deluxe edition on my wrong account and I'm wondering if there's a way I can redeem it again (with proof of purchase of game and code of course).

    Is it possible to somehow undo my purchase and claim the game with the correct account?

    I claimed it with a redeem code and happened to be logged in to the wrong account.

    Thank you for contacting Forum support!

    When redeeming content always make sure you're signed into the correct account on all devices.

    (make sure it didn't get redeemed to the wrong account)

    Try checking your
    Order History     on your account (the one on the console) and make sure it was redeemed to that account.

    If the content was redeemed to the wrong account, then try to set your other account as the

    Home Console    .

    (unfortunately, codes cannot be removed from one account to another)
