If none of that works, I'd recommend buying a new power brick online and see if that works. They should be super cheap because they're not that high in demand anymore as the 'power brick' is being more or less slowly phased out in the newer Xbox One and
Series X models.

Then, if that doesn't work consider servicing. Its free if covered
under warranty, if not... then the price depends on region and nature of the repair.

Do you guys know someone else that has an original Xbox One model? Maybe they would let you borrow their power supply to see if that works.

If not, then your friend could contact Microsoft (or the retailer), and they may replace the console and / or power brick depending on the warranty (how old the console is)
