    My friends are always muted, when i unmute one another gets muted.


    i have a problem with the xbox live party, i cant listen all my friends when i'm on the party, i dont know why but always one or 2 of my friends are muted, and when i unmute one, another gets muted and its really making me angry, pls help.

    Friends muted

    When I join a party some of my friends are muted and I can’t unmute them, I tried hard resetting my Xbox I tried unmuteing them on there profile but nothing worked. I don’t know if this is an issue with Xbox live or not. I think it is because my friends
    also have this issue one of my friends has me muted and they can’t unmute me please help.

    This issue is currently being looked into by the proper teams, but we have a few things that may help resolve the issue.

    Let's have you
    remove your profile    ,
    power cycle the console    , and then sign back in to test once more.

    If that does not help
    soft factory reset     the console and be sure to pick "Keep my games and apps".

    Post back and let us know how that goes or if you see a change!

    I am having the same issue except the same two friends are permanently muted and it will not let me change that. I have tried everything mentioned to resolve it but the problem remains.

    The investigation is still ongoing. Since that did not work be sure to keep an eye on
    the status page for updates on a fix.

    I am having the same issue except the same two friends are permanently muted and it will not let me change that. I have tried everything mentioned to resolve it but the problem remains.
