    My friends account Ggomesmatt were banned for "Phishing" for no reason


    Hello Everybody, my friend has a really problematic situation where he can't play his games anymore for no reason. He was a pc gamer and when he decided to buy an xbox one s he decided to make an xbox account. he didnt really play that much, he played like 10 ours a week and one day he got perma-banned for no reason without even doing anything. Today we called the microsoft support and they really couldn't do as much.. Is his profile really gone? did he waste really 80 euros on games because he can't get to xbox live anymore? if somebody have a solution, even a dev, please reply.

    He played occasionally on xbox, he was accused falsely for phishing and now he pays for it even not doing so

    Thank you for your time, i really want to somebody to tell me something

    ps: i'm writing this on my account microsoft beacuse he cant even login on this site

    Microsoft does not disclose the reason for a console ban due to security concerns.

    The typical reasons why console bans happen is due to (but not necessarily limited to):

    - Repeated violations of the Code of Conduct.

    - Hacking, modding, tampering.

    - Account fraud, phishing, etc.

    Whatever the reason, what's done is done, and device bans are permanent and irreversible. The console can only be played offline now.

    Console bans are issued typically for these reasons:

    - Account fraud, phishing.

    - Repeated violations of the Code of Conduct.
