My friend's 15yr acct got permanently banned for "phishing" while we were on vacation..

If that's the case, idk what it could be unless he killed someone in a game and they had all their friends report him.

That wouldn't cause a ban unless he did something to violate the code of conduct/terms of service. The enforcement team don't issue suspensions just because you receive a lot of reports.

I appreciate the response. He spoke to someone that said maybe he could try a second appeal and show receipts showing we were on vacation or something but they don't think there is evidence of a hack. If that's the case, idk what it could be unless he killed someone in a game and they had all their friends report him. His last interaction with anyone was he had an afk player in Cod, and he messaged them "play", they said "I'm stuck in a loading screen" and he said "OK". It's not like he's toxic, and the guy couldn't spell phishing, much less do it.

Just to add that any report filed has to be investigated which takes time so your friends ban would of been for something they did before you went on holiday.It could even be for something they did months ago.

He would need to contact support & open an unauthorised access case.

The problem he may have is this should of been done straight away if they thought their account was compromised & before filing for a case review.

He was hacked. He has an email saying there was unusual activity and the following emails showing login attempts from multiple countries... And xbox denied his appeal. What the heck do we do?
