My friend got a month multi-player ban on xbox but the enforcement website says he is good....

I'm trying to help my little brother with an issue with his account. When he logs onto his Xbox it says he is banned and to contact the enforcement team. When he logs into the enforcement teams website it says he is in good standing and has had 0 enforcement actions taken against him. He can't appeal the ban because it shows he isn't banned. He has contacted Microsoft support twice and after about 30 minutes the reps have both told him they have no idea how to help and can't assist him in contacting the enforcement team. It doesn't say anything about a device ban, just his account. Basically, he just bought a brand new Series X a few months ago, has his Xbox live/Gamepass paid up for almost two years, and can't use any of it.

I endured the exact same ban with no idea why other then other players abused the report option... I honestly feel this is a major reason why Xbox loses players to Playstation because this kind of anti-consumer attitude/action is ridiculous there needs to
be restrictions placed on the enforcement team just the same as there are on customers that would help resolve several issue like this from happening for no good reason I know a friend was wrongfully reported 13 times by another player my friend got a communication
ban because of it that other player that reported my friend 13 times spouted racist comments to my friend through messages & as far as I know my friend was banned while that racist person wasn't punished at all..... just saying the poor management of bans
& enforcement actions have gone on like this for way too long something needs to change & the wrongful bans need to be stopped just saying......

So I have gotten my first ban which I believe is partly justified because did message someone a hurtful message but I do not think that it should be a one month ban and instead a week or two becuase this is my first ban from anything in general on any platform.Also
i feel like the person i messaged baned me because right after getting my xbox enforcement message he said “what happened” not like a couple minutes as i was i got the xbox enforcement message he said this as if he knew about it without me saying which i still
think a ban was worthy but it wasnt anything in the 1 month range of worth.

Also he started it.I was playing Rainbow Six Siege when he shot me for baricading a door he wanted to go throug (While behind me out of my vision) and i shot him the next round which than he got his friend to kill me in. Also he said bad to me first which
i responded with [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] which i know is too far but not worth 1 month after he had started it and it being my first ban.

You should have got an email with the only way to talk with them. You cant here

Hi My freinds has about 10 accounts and his name is [Mod Removed] on Xbox and he banned me I hotness unbanned 2 days ago I got banned again yesterday.My other friends friends are [Mod Removed] please get them banned

Only member of the enforcement team can ban players. You can view your ban on enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review if eligible from there.
