    My friend can't join my worlds in Minecraft since the 1.11.1 update =(


    Ok so idk why this happened but a few months ago (maybe 3 or 2 monthes) before the 1.11.1 update on Minecraft Windows 10 Edition my friend could join me and my other friend's worlds/servers in MC but right after the 1.11.1 upade things started to get weird
    we could join each other sometimes but we also can't join sometimes. This kept on happening 'till 1.11.2 and after the 1.11.2 update (1.11.3) me and my other friend can't join our said friend that can't join our worlds. Me and my friend that can join me can't
    join the said friend. Please help us cuz we really don't know what to do and are desperately miserable. We tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it but nothing worked. We also looked at multiple MC forums to see if people are also having the same problems
    just like us and we found a few (we have also been trying the replys in those questions in the Microsoft forums).

    Important notes:

    -Me and my friend that can join are on wifi

    -Our friend that can't join dosent have wifi but instead uses cellular data

    -this only happened starting 1.11.1

    -we can't join completely starting on 1.11.3

    -we can however join realms

    -my realm expired a month ago so we can't play anymore

    -however we can play on servers (The Hive, Mineplex, Life Boat, etc.)with all 3 of us being able to join with no problem

    -We are all Android players and have updated MC to the latest version

    That's all! This question might be long but we are really desperate and are sick of playing treasure wars so we are really sorry but we really don't know what to do.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. There have been a few issues with the 1.11 update. Biggest reason that could be the issue is your friend is on a hotspot. This will have a lot of connection issues. When he is connected if the NAT is anything but open he
    will have trouble connecting to people.

    I am having the same problem, however, for me, it is my friend who is on the Xbox and I am on the Windows 10 version. He cant join the world that I created anymore. He can, however, join me if I create a new world and I can join any of his old

    join any previous worlds I created but he can join new ones. You will encounter a similar problem on the java edition of Minecraft if you try to connect to a server with a wrong client version. It appears as if the clients updated but the world it's self
    did not which is why my friend can't join. That is my theory at least. I did what you said above and it and it still doesn't work.
