My friend can't download a game from his xbox game pass

I have just tried it again, and the Xbox game pass still doesn't work. My Xbox status of the subscription is active and I still can't be able to download any games from the game pass store.

My friend was able to download and play it here in the Philippines however i can't still see it on my Game Pass. I wonder why is that.

I have a friend who owns game pass so we decided to game share and make our home consoles each others. However, when I sign into his account on my Xbox I can't access game pass whatsoever to download the games so I can play it on my account. Is
this a thing anymore or is there something I'm not doing right?

Not to mention XGU does not share ONLY thr gold part

And only his profile.can login and download from gamepass

My friend and I are trying to gameshare, I don't own the game but I have the game pass. When he goes to start the game it says he doesn't have the game pass.

Simply (Allow) your friend to Make his home Xbox your
"Home Xbox" Should Resolve the Problem.. As Long as you Have Game-Pass he should be able to download any game from the Pass... *My friend an I are doing this also*

I share both Live and Game pass with my brother so it should work. Maybe log onto his xbox with your account and download a game from game pass. Then see if he can download them on his own account after that. It should, as todd howard says "just work" if
you are both each others home xbox, but perhaps it needs a kickstart. My only other suggestion is holding the power button down on your stepsons xbox to hard restart it, that too may kickstart it.

Just asked my brother, he said that he can't get games from the "my library" game pass section but has to go to the Xbox store and go to the game pass tab there to download games. Hope that helps mate, cheers!
