We are sorry to hear your issue with Fornite freezing in you. When this has happened to me in the past, I've simply started to fix the issue by
cycling the power to my xbox.

*Not a restart, a full shutdown

Cycle Your Xbox One

As my fellow ambassadors have already stated, perform a power cycle. If the problem persists, I'd recommend to make sure you have spare room on your Xbox hard drive, your connection to your internet is stable and maybe try deleting and reinstalling Fortnite.

i would recommend these steps:

1. Turn on

2. Sign in

3. go to settings

4. blu-ray & disc

5. clear storage

6. hold the power button for 10 seconds

7. remove all cables for 60 seconds

8. connected all cables and wait another 60 seconds

9. turn on

10. sign in

11. test internet connection

12. test game
