My Fortnite is coming up as corrupted and won’t let me play it does anyone know how to sort...

Hi Kyle hate to say it but I have already tried and still says it’s corrupted I will go and try it again if not I’m unsure what to do will it work if I buy a new console ?

I’m sorry to hear that.

This sounds like there is corruption in the save file.

Fortunately Fortnite is online only, so your progress, skins, achievements, and battle pass will not be deleted/reset.

You will need to delete the save data and then relaunch the game.

The only thing that may be last is your settings, like controls and sensitivity settings.

Also, your Fortnite progress is stored online on Epic Games' servers, so there is no need to worry about losing your skins or progress.

Thank you Jack, try power cycling your console:

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or on your controller.

If that doesn't work, delete the game entirely and reset your Xbox:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
Select Reset and keep my games & apps
