My followers list is infected.

So, I have blocked some people, but they still appear in my followers list and they still have me as a friend. This is wrong. They were suppose to be completely gone from their side, too. I think my profile is indeed infected.

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

There's no need to panic. There is no glitch in the profile system and it's not possible for it to get infected with a virus.

As the other ambassador has said, this takes time to process. If you feel that the connections are returning after you have blocked them, could it be that someone has access to your account? i.e. have you game shared?

Just in case, I would log-in to your Microsoft account and change your password. Then, restart your system to see if the changes have taken affect.

there is no way your profile can be infected- unless somehow YOU did something or put a virus on your Xbox I have like 400 something followers and they remove right away. So it can't be the xbox services because they are currently up and running it's something to do with your account. You had to put a virus of some sort on it.

Sometimes my friend's list says everyone's offline and that's about it but if you just did it may take a while.. so give it time to process
