    unplug your xbox one for ten seconds with tv and cable box off. this will rid of eroor in the RAM and will work just like before when you turn it back on.

    This may fix a locked screen or black screen. What it does is refreshes the HDCP signal between the STB and Xbox One. Thanks for the post Jamesfromwork. If you have anything else, please post back.
