My first experience (spoiler: not so good)

I was lucky to get myself a series X on launch day. Unfortunately I am having some issues that kinda making me regret my decision on getting one at launch.

Besides the huge amounts of updates (82gigs for FH4 for example) I had to download. And spending almost 6 hours watching the home screen and being unable to play anything because of the updates. I had some more serious issues that I would like to mention.

I was finally playing Forza Horizon and it was stunning. Only having played it on the regular Xbox One, the 4k version was amazing. But somehow the paints i created aren't loading. They are in the car selection screen, but when you start a race there gone.
Then there were the numerous amounts of crashes i had to go through.

When I looked around in the settings I discovered that the audio is only set to stereo and isn't changeable to any other settings. Weird thing is that when i turn off my 5.1 receiver these options are adjustable. Connected my Xbox to the TV, TV through optical
to the receiver. This was no issue on the Xbox One.

Then there is the issue of my TV which is a Samsung and the lack of support of HDR. I read this somewhere else that this isn't supported yet. Hopefully in the future. But this is a thing I expected to be supported by a next gen console.

I also tried some other games to play around with, but these downloads take forever. I know that these files are 4k optimized for the Xbox series X but holy Moses, there has got to be a way to make it more user friendly?

Then I decided to paint a little bit more in Forza Horizon 4. What I always do is start the companion app. Use one monitor on my computer as reverence and then the other to stream the Xbox. But there is no support for the Xbox series X on the companion app
what so ever.

Then there is the little matter of the controls. I pay 500 euro for a half working Xbox and then you give me a controller with batteries? What is this for cheap as move? If you did this with the series S then that makes sense to me. But with your top of
the line console? Come on Xbox, that is really a d*** move!

This all makes me very disappointed and really really sad that I decided to purchase the Xbox. At least this soon in the game.

I am really disappointed that i have to experience this. Knowing that with the previous versions of the Xbox I also didn't had a good start.
