    If the fan isn't turning on, then you will need to take it back to the retailer and get a replacement, or send it to Microsoft for repair.

    Xbox one X -YouTube glitch.

    Not just limited to 4k. I'm using my Xbox One X on a 1080p TV watching 1080p content on YouTube and I'm getting the same issue. Glad to know I'm not the only one with the problem though. I was starting to get concerned that there was an issue with my console
    that is barely six months old.

    I've been having the same issue since an update. The console will be fine after leaving it but after about 20 minutes it grinds to a halt and everything stops working. My Xbox one X is only 17 months old with barely any use. It seems like a HDD issue but
    I'd expect a hard drive to last longer than this.

    Hi Onyx. Well my new XBOX X signed on with no problem. Just in case others are reading this I'm almost certain the card in the old Xbox one that handshakes with the gateway security is fried. The old Xbox doesn't allow me in, yet the X allows me right in with the same router/modem. So folks, be aware that just because it says the security protocol isn't supported doesn't necessarily mean it's the protocol at all.
