    There was almost 900G of games on my external hard drive and I was using until yesterday but today all the games disappeared and the hard is full but when I try to copy or move anything from it there's nothing

    Hi Majid, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    This may mean that the external hard drive is corrupted but let's perform troubleshooting steps. KIndly unplug the hard drive and then perform a powercycle on your console before plugging it back in.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    I have an external hard drive for my Xbox, and I lots of digital games. So, you shouldn't habe any issues hooking it up to your xbox. My external hard drive it's 2ter.

    External Drive Issue

    Have a very similar problem. Can't move anything to the external ( the message will pop up saying it's full), can't uninstall games from the external (manage game will show the save file but not where it's installed or the install itself). Have done a hard
    reset, tried different cables, reformatted the drive. No change.

    Multiple error codes as well as no response to downloading owned games.

    My only worry is that the issue will persist and I will be unable to access any games that I have full access to now, will having an external hard drive to store the games on be a workaround for that issue?

    I used 2 external hard drives one 4TB one 2TB and the only issue I have 3 times is when I turn on my xbox. one of the hard drives is not read properly and won't show any games that on it but the console will still show how much memory is left. But I just
    have to take out the hard drive and put it back in and it fixes it.
