    Hi,

    Today I wanted to try Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for 1 month.

    At this moment I still had a Xbox Live Gold subscription until august 2020.

    My Gold subscription now converted into an Ultimate subscription.

    I quickly realized that Game Pass wasn't for me, so I cancelled the Ultimate subscription the same day.

    Now my Gold subscription also got cancelled!

    How is this possible? Why is my entire Gold subscription cancelled while I already paid for this and I still had more than a year left???

    Is there anyone who had the same issue?

    I just activated a 24-month Xbox Live Gold subscription tonight. I want to take advantage of the "Join for $1" Game Pass, which will convert my 24 month "Live" subscription to an "ultimate." But I'm very confused as to what will really happen. In one
    place, it says "Joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will upgrade your remaining Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass for Console or Xbox Game Pass for PC time into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the same amount of
    time, up to 36 months. All conversions are final. See xbox.com/gamepass for details. " So I think "Oh great, this $1 will upgrade the entire 24 month subscription to "ultimate" for a total of $1." But when I actually click "Join," the message tells
    me that I will be charged $1 for the first month and then $14.95/month for every month after that (and that if I cancel Game Pass subscription after the trial period, that I will be cancelling my entire subscription... I like the idea of $1 to permanently
    upgrade (for 24 months). But if I click join (and accept terms) and then find out that it is actually $14.95/month and that the only way to cancel is to lose my 24-month prepaid subscription to "Live Gold," then I'd be super unhappy.

    I would try and explain to xbox support that this is what has happened and see if they can re-instate your live, but as previously said it did state that it was upgrading your live gold account to xbox pass ultimate when you took the offer out :(
