    My email was recently compromised and I lost pretty much all my gaming accounts. I've been slowly getting accounts back, but Microsoft seems to not have any real way of getting around this. I can't even seem to call support without it giving me an automated message about visiting an online site. I even went through the whole "recover your username" option and it shows me the added emails that don't belong to me. I urgently need help on what I can do next to recover my account!

    I have exact the same problem. My Email was hacked a few days ago and i think somehow the hack also hacked my Microsoft which has the Email and changed the Email from my Minecraft account to another one.

    Thanks for your reply, yes it is all up to the user and the email service provider. Now just need some effort to deal with MS since the backup email also being hack so noway to get the recovery process through backup email.

    the hacker changed the email to begin with then I changed it back to my email and it said it would take 30 days and then it got hacked back into and now it wont let me change the email at all for 30 days. Not sure if that answered your question or not.

    i can't access additional security options on my account because remember i changed my backup email and now settings are locked until 7/30/23. any other methods using only microsoft rewards?
