My Elite Series 2 controller was shipped back to me without getting repaired

Hi,

I found out around 1 month ago that my Elite Series 2 was having some bumpers and buttons issues. I then realized that I had a warranty. So I did everything I had to do (put my controller in a secured box and paste the shipping label to it) and I dropped the box to an UPS store. After around 2 weeks, my controller came back in a even worse condition than before (bumpers are now locking). When I checked if my repair order updated, I saw that it didn't. It is still saying that I need to deliver the package to Microsoft, even though I already did! I tried to contact Microsoft but guess what, no agent are online (only a bot that won't help at all). When I called Microsoft's number guess what, a bot redirected me to the same website that redirected me to the virtual agent. Isn't there a way to contact a human employee? I need help because I paid for my warranty and now I can't even use it.

Thank you for trying to help me. However, I already did all those steps and it didn't work. The option ''request a call'' is not available. It doesn't seem to me that it can ever be available. Apparently, my issue (warranty) is not eligible for live chat too, so I can't talk to an employee, Am I just supposed to sit here with my broken Elite while not being able to use my warranty?

I'm so sorry you are experiencing this with the replacement controller. I understand how frustrating it is and I would totally feel the same way if I were in your shoes. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

In order to fix this, you will need to coordinate this case with Microsoft Xbox Support immediately as they have the tools and resources to properly investigate this.

There are only two ways to contact Microsoft Xbox Support, Live chat support and Call back phone support. I would recommend you contact them through Live chat support for faster customer service based on my personal experience.

To reach out to their live chat support, here's how:

1. Visit the Xbox Support website: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us#0
2. Click on the "Contact Us" button on the right of the screen.
3. Select the issue you need help with and click on the "Next" option.
4. Sign in to your Microsoft account.
5. Follow the prompts to connect to a live chat agent.

If you are still having difficulty accessing Xbox Support Live Chat, you can also try contacting Xbox support via callback. Here's how:

1. Select Xbox One.
2. Select See More options then Subscription changes.
3. Select Show Contact options.
4. Select request a call from support.

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives a request for a call from support as a contact option.

If you're still unable to get in touch with the support, please try at a later time as there might be technical issues due to the volume of requests they receive on a daily basis.

My Elite version 2 controller has never disconnected but the internal battery will NOT charge. It is a brick unless it is plugged in with the USB wire or sitting on the charging dock. when plugged in or on charging dock the white LED light blinks but never
goes to a solid light even after 10 hours sitting on the charge dock. I've never seen the LED light go to color "amber" to signify it has a low battery. 180$ for a wired controller less than 8 months old.

I contacted support they told me it would bee 100$ to REPAIR!! because my 90 day warranty was up lol. 90 days for a controller they say "should last a lifetime".....

oh and option #2 they sent me a link to buy an Xbox "play and charge kit" ...lol for an Elite Series 2. The Elite Series 2 that has an INTERNAL BATTERY!

I am beyond pissed off and I get everyone's frustrations on this thread. This is all after going through 4 series 1 elite controllers.

To me it's absolutely UNACCEPTABLE that Microsoft wont at the least repair these controllers that are defective. Not broken but defective. And I mean repair for free or shipping charge ONLY.

The elite controller series one did have a few faults but did have a good repair back up system but the stronger one is the series 2.

I didnt got any response or anything around that my controller is in.

After one month still no response

Can someone tell me how to get my controller back and repaired 😬
