My elite series 2 controller disconnects whenever I press the right analog stick

Hello I have recently purchased an Elite series 2 controller. I have had a elite series 2 in the pass and I have the same problem. Whenever I simply press down on the right anolag stick it just turns off. I saw someone ask this question and was given a non clear response on what to do. Please however is reading this help me out please I costomized this one and it cost me about 200 bucks.

Does this happen when you are using it plugged in via the USB cable?

It happens both when it’s plugged and when it’s turned on without being plugged in. It’s almost like when I press down on the anolag stick it presses down on something that just sets off the controller with in it.

I have 2 Elites drifting to the right from the left analog stick.

Some of the design choices on the upcoming elite series 2 were made with the 360 controller in mind. The adjustable tension analog sticks will allow you to match the 360s tension for example.
