    My downloaded GTA won’t launch?.


    I recently purchased GTA 5 as i was given a voucher for xbox and downloaded the game . However when I go to play the game it takes me straight back to thr home screen . Meaning the game does not launch . I have repoted an outage on the xbox assist and
    troubleshoot and network test and my network is good . So any help would be good. Thank you

    Hi. Yes I’m using the right profile other games I’ve downloaded works fine it’s just gta 5 won’t launch unless I’m online and launch it from my download history or Xbox live

    It sounds like you're game download may have become corrupt try deleting the game and reinstalling it

    Hi there,

    if you haven't yet then please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    Also be sure to check if this is just happening for GTA 5 or also for other games
