my disk has melted a little

hi, I have had overwatch as a physical disk since the game launch. But recently when I tried to open it the disk didn't work, I checked the disk to see if there was any damage, and to my surprise I saw the edge of the disk melted. The disk isn't totally messed up, but the plastic on the shiny side is not completely attached, sometimes when I press on it really hard it works throughout the day, but I have to do it again for every time. as far as I know this is not a usual issue that people face.

for your information, I am playing on the xbox one x, and I haven't removed the disk from the xbox prior to the damage that has occurred. my question is: is there any way that I could get a free digital replacement for the damage?

I bought the game soon after release in 2016 so I would think that a 90 day guarantee is probably noot valid. Thank you for you’re reply

You need to contact Blizzard to find out if they have a disc swap policy. Microsoft only exchanges game discs that it publishes and that are 90 days old from the date of purchase.

It’s called delamination. The glue in the disc failed, and the layers are coming apart. This is certainly not unheard of.

It can damage your disc drive, and it will fail sooner or later as the data layers oxidize

I don't really know if this is relevant to this part of the forum, but my Halo: Reach disk looks like it's melted/has a giant water mark in the middle. I installed the game before it stopped working and it still dosen't work and i'm going to have to get
a replacement, does anyone know why?
