My disc is nothing downloading on my xbox

Just in case someone else comes looking with a similar question, did you just have to wait for the update to download?

Cheers for the advice, checked the xbox with other discs and they work fine, done network checks, I just tried downloading it from my phone still nothing I think it's just a blank disc

yes I cleared the cache but all that does is when I start the game again It asks me to download update and if I don't Iget signed out of xbox live and if I do it then checks for downloadable content which then freezes.This only happens with my xbox live
profile and none of the other 4 profiles I have on the console(they are not xbox live profiles).

As to replacing the disc, there is nothing wrong with the disc. The game worked fine with my profile before I joined xbox live so as far as I'm concerned it has nothing to do with the disc or hard drive or console and everything to do with the update that
it wants me to download.....

Method 1. Power cycle your Xbox One console.

You can reset, perform a full power cycle, or physically disconnect your Xbox One console to reboot it completely and fix many common issues. This process does not erase any of your games or data.

2. Select Settings.  
3. Select All Settings.  
4. Select Network.  
5. Select Network settings.  
6. Select Advance settings.  
7. Select Alternate MAC address.  
8. Select Clear.

I'm having the same problem with the "Minecraft Story Mode: Season Pass Disc". Actually, I had a helluva time just getting Episode 1 to load. When I first put the disc in my disc drive, there was no response from the disc when I hit the "A" button to start
the install, nothing happened, like my Xbox One didn't recognize there was even a disc in the drive. Tried it on a second Xbox One, same thing. Looked around the net to see if anyone was in a similar boat, but found nothing at the time. Was going to take
the disc back to the store to replace, but I tried one more thing... I set my console to auto-start the disc when loading it and, sure enough, Episode 1 loaded. So, my new problem, like "PurpleJesus2013", was when I used the in-game menu to download Episode
2. It took me straight to the Xbox Store and wanted me to pay for Episode 2. The Xbox Store did not recognize that I had the Season Pass (via the disc), nor that I should be able to download Episode 2 without paying. Very frustrating!
