my disc drive doesnt take cds

When you shared that it does not take CDs, does that mean that you can't install or play a game? A very subtle whirring or spinning sound when inserting or reading a disc is expected. Try installing the disc to your harddrive if that doesnt work wipe your disc with a SOFT cloth to remove any possible residue (hair,dust,etc) If that doesnt work it would be the cause of a faulty disc drive reader (unlikely in your case) or CD laser burns

I have never removed a disc from either my 360 my One or my car CD player or my blu ray player, leaving discs in consoles does absolutely no harm whatsover. Its an old wives tale. Im pretty sure the disc doesnt need to be in to update, DR3 updated for
me without the game being in the drive as have numerous other games, the game is already installed on the console isnt it? Although I have noticed Destiny hasnt updated without the disc in the drive.

The disc drive did not play any games or DVDs, just CDs. After following some techniques in lens cleaning, etc, it still didnt work.

I now bought a used disc drive from ebay and installed. It read teh games but then each game had the same message: To play game, please inster disc in an xbox 360 console.

So it slike my xbox doesnt realize its an xbox.

1. I tried this doesnt work.

2.I dont have usb and my cd drive in computer doesnt work . Can i try this with fifa 15 ?
