My disc doesn’t install

Hi i am trying to install gta again, my xbox has plenty of space, the disc is a little scratched but everytime i place the disc in it starts to install then it stays at 0.0% and the installation stops?

i was thinking of buying the hame online but im worried i will lose all my stuff any ideas?

make sure your disc has no stains or dirt.
also test your player with other media to see if the problem is not with the player.

I'm pretty sure as long as your progress is on that Xbox, if you use the disk or buy it digitally, you should still have the same progress. As long as you own the game, your progress syncs. Also, there is probably something wrong with the disk, that is
why it is not downloading.

Hey there, try uninstalling and re-installing as that should reset it as it will install as the disc. If that doesn’t work if you are using a external device to store your games try deleting it from there.

Hi, thanks for a quick response. Ive tested this out with another account and I tried to install fallout shelter as i knew i hadn’t installed it before on xbox. It doesn’t display in my queue or downloaded. I also tested with a disc game too. So maybe
an account issue?

BD-100 is compatible with Xbox Series X, and the game will fit based on the current install size. As far as I know Xbox one still doesn’t support multi disc installs

However BD-100 lines are backed up for months. I wouldn’t expect a disc until next year in North America myself.
